SENT ON MISSION: A PASTORAL INVITATION
TO SHARE JESUS WITH OTHERS
A major initiative to spread the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ began in our Diocese over ten years ago. Since 2014, Our Lord has been forming us, as a local church, into Disciples on the Way.
We began preparing for our Disciples on the Way journey in 2014, as every meaningful journey should begin—with prayer. In 2016, we formally embraced a discipleship pathway shaped by four essential movements: Discover Jesus, Follow Jesus, Worship Jesus, and Share Jesus. It is my heartfelt desire that every person, especially every baptized Catholic, come to know Jesus personally and enter into a deep, life-giving relationship with Him.
Over the past decade, we have grown as Disciples on the Way, as we have discovered, followed, and worshiped Jesus. Led by the Holy Spirit, we now embrace the call to Share Jesus with our friends, families and neighbors, and our communities.
