My name is Fr. Jim Lucas and I am the pastor of this community of 880 families. Education, Worship and Stewardship are the ways that we come to know, love, and serve God in this world so as to be happy with God forever in heaven. We see this as our primary mission, given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ, to hear, live, and share the Good News of salvation with others.
We are very proud of our modern facilities. In our beautiful church, our hearts turn to the Lord in worship and the community is strengthened with sacraments. The windows are a unique design and expression of our faith. They were laid out by Bernard Timmers, the pastor when the church was built in 1962. It has an open nave and clear view of the altar. In our Faith Formation Center, all parish educational efforts find their home and activities for our children, youth, and adults are sponsored.
Stewardship guides everything we do at St. Paul. We live knowing that God has gifted us with abundant grace and blessings through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. As stewards of God's gifts we gratefully pray, serve, and share our time, talents, and treasures for the building up of God's reign on earth. Our Christian Services outreach is one of our strengths. Thanks be to God!!
Please read on further, and if you are so inspired, come and join in the mission which we believe Jesus Christ has given to us. Praise the Lord!

Called to Serve Weekend
May is traditionally a time of renewal. The new growth is beginning to show itself in the gardens and greens. At St. Paul, May is the time in which we renew our commitments of service to God. Please review the bulletin insert and prayerfully consider a commitment of service, in a leadership or participation capacity, at St. Paul Parish. We will collect these commitments next week during our CALL TO SERVE weekend. Also, next Sunday there will be a FREE BREAKFAST hosted by your Parish Council, in the CHURCH HALL, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and going until the start of 10:30 mass. All are welcome!
Youth Ministry and Cancer Research
Thanks to the generosity of TEAM MOTORSPORTS and TEAM WINNEBAGOLAND, we have a 2007 Honda Metropolitan Moped to Raffle off. It is PINK! It also gets 100 MILES TO THE GALLON! Have you seen the gas prices lately? We are hoping that the POWER OF PINK will translate into generous support for YOUTH MINISTRY and CANCER RESEARCH. Thank you in advance for your support.
