"HOUR SUNDAY MEETING" Sundays 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM
in the Father Bob Vandenberg Hall (church basement)
This is an open meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. We are glad you are here—especially newcomers. In keeping with our singleness of purpose and our Third Tradition which states that “The only requirement for A.A. membership is a desire to stop drinking,” we ask that only alcoholics participate and that they confine their discussion to their problems with alcohol. Crosstalk is discouraged. We allow each person to share their experience, strength and hope.
MEETING FORMAT: THE DAILY REFLECTIONS (this is a book of daily readings for AA)

PARTNERS IN RECOVERY
...nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics. ...Both you and the new man must walk day by day in the path of spiritual progress. ... Follow the dictates of a Higher Power and you will presently live in a new and wonderful world, no matter what your present circumstances!
ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS pp. 89, 100
Doing the right things for the right reasons---this is my way of controlling my selfishness and self-centeredness. I realize that my dependency on a Higher Power clears the way for peace of mind, happiness and sobriety. I pray each day that I will avoid my previous actions, so that I will be helpful to others.
We will talk about that subject or any subject relating to alcohol when it is your turn.
