Being a Catholic Christian is not about just knowing about God. It is not just about loving God. It is not just about serving God and others. Being a Catholic Christian is about the integration of all three: knowing, loving, and serving. Service is a natural outpouring of God’s love.
As part of their comprehensive faith formation experience, high school students will serve their parish and community each year, not just “for confirmation.” 10 hours of service per year is not arduous. Service to the parish is encouraged.
